Sensei Carlos Manuel Cadena began officially training with USSD in 2009 in The Woodlands location. Sensei Carlos always held a passion for martial arts as he had began his martial arts training since he was 5 years old.

Ever since he first moved to the United States from Mexico in 2008, his first goal was to find a karate studio in which he could continue his martial arts training. After a year-long search, Sensei Carlos finally found a home at USSD and continued to train under their system for the next 7 years. Through the years, along with learning the Chuan Fa style while at USSD, he also had the privilege to study the style of Goju-Ryu martial arts, traditional boxing, and Krav Maga.

After spending 5 years in the DFW area for educational purposes, he returned to the Houston area and is now happily using the skills he has gathered to teach the next generation of young martial artists, as well as spending more time to expand his knowledge in the art itself. Aside from martial arts, Sensei Carlos is also an actor, a singer, a photographer, and is currently a nursing school student. Aside from playing video games and guitar, he also enjoys the company of both family and friends. Whenever he can, he loves to reflect on the great blessings that life has bestowed upon him and is looking forward to whatever life has in store for him next.
